Bugün Stardoll'a artık 14 hafta sürecek Büyük Moda Kelime Avı yarışmasının ikinci bölümü geldi. Çoğu kişi zaman sıkıntısı yaşadığı için Stardoll yarışmanın 1 hafta yerine 2 hafta sürmesine karar verdi. Yarışma aşağıdaki şekilde duyuruldu:
"Selam bebekler!
Buradaki çoğu dollumuz bir fashionista - siz markalarınızı, tarzlarınızı ve moda sahnesiyle alakalı terimleri biliyorsunuz! Eğer biliyorsanız, görmek isteriz!
Gelecek birkaç hafta içerisinde, modayla alakalı terimlerle dolu 7 kelime avı yayınlıyor olacağız: trendlerden kumaşlara, şapkalara ve takılara, endüstrinin kendi jargonuna, kol uzunluklarına ve yaka çeşitlerine ve ötesine.
Her kelime avı bulunacak 100 kelime içerecek.
Bulunacak her kelime baş harfi belli kelimelerden meydana gelecek.
Sizlere her kelime avında her harften kaç kelime olduğu konusunda bilgilendireceğiz.
Bazı terimler birkaç kelimeden meydana gelecek.
Eğer modaya uygun şekilde kabul ederseniz, göreviniz TÜM KELİMELERİ bulmak! Onları aşağıya alfabetik sırayla listeleyin (böylece biz hepsini bulduğunuzu daha kolayca görebiliriz).
7 kelime avının her birinde, TÜM kelimeleri bulan ve 100 Stardollar kazanacak 5 doll seçeceğiz!
7 kelime avındaki 700 kelimenin hepsini bulabilirseniz, adınız en tarz alışveriş cümbüşünde kazanılacak 1000 Stardollarlık çekilişe yazılacak!

YanıtlaSilBence ne kadar iyi İngilizce bilsekte zor bir yarışma. Çoğu İngiliz, Amerikan bile bulurken zorlanıyor. :) Ben bir kaç kelime buldum ama nedense bulmacada bulamadım ya da o kadar çok şey işaretleyince bir süre sonra gözden kaçmaya başladı, temiz bir sayfa açıp akşama tekrar bakmayı düşünüyorum. :D
SilBulmaca cok cok uzun... Stardoll bu konuda fazlasiyla zorluyor. Internetten yabanci kelimelere baktim. Bulmacada bag ile alakali kelimeler gordum. Ama coktan bulmussun:) Bu gercektende cok zor. X ile baslayan moda kelimesi yok bile :/
SilX ile başlayan X-Line ve X-ray Fabrics'i buldum ama bulmacada karşıma çıkmadı iki kelimede. :(

SilBelki hafta sonu olduğu için cevap vermemiş olabilirler. Hafta sonları Stardoll ekibi ne yazık ki çalışmıyorlar. Yarışma hatırladığım kadarıyla en son 2 hafta önce yarışmalar sayfasındaydı. Yeni kaldırıldığı için açıklanması 2-3 hafta sürebilir. En kötü bu hafta ya da haftaya açıklanır diye düşünüyorum.

SilI found the word Geonomic, possibly geonomic bod That seems like a pretty complex word to be a mistake but what does it have to do with fashion?
YanıtlaSilI found Geonomic too, but I wasn't sure if it is related with fashion or not so I wrote G-suit instead
SilI think some of your B words are wrong as Beryl is a type of stone, and there were lots of those last time and brogues is a type of shoe.
YanıtlaSilSince English is not my native language, it is difficult for me to find words and make sure these words are correct. If you tell us what we should write instead of the words you think are wrong, I can delete them and add the correct ones. :)

YanıtlaSilI don't think greecian counts since it's spelled wrong, alot of words have snuck in. There isn't much info but you might be right on zeritgeist, it seems to be a trend that features traces of the past. And stardoll expects us to know this word how?
YanıtlaSilI gotta figure out what word doesn't count for beryl to fit in because that is 100% one of the words. I'm guessing its one of the smaller words. I'll let you know if i figure it out.
YanıtlaSilWith the g's I'm not sure gown counts since it was connected to ballgown. G-suit is an article of clothing that I wouldn't call fashion but it could count. Geonomic just seems so strange to show up randomly. Does anyone know what it means? I had thought acetate last round didn't count since it was a chemical but it turned out to be a fabric type as well

SilThe x one is very frustrating. There are a few terms that I was hoping to find, like x line or xray (fabric). I've circled all the x's on my sheet to keep checking. There is a funny section that's boxcubes but all I get are storage bins.

SilYes, remember how there was plaid peacoat but that what two things. Or knife pleat front which was knife pleat and pleat front. If you look up x crossback shirt you'll see some designs, they're popular in sports bras too.

SilIt's too late now, but it just proves how many tiny words out there fool us. There's boat shoes and boat neck, but there's also boater which is also a type of hat! I really wanna know if anyone is going to be able to content for the big prize because that means they got every single search perfect.
